Distribution:  Western Indian Ocean, Western Central Atlantic, and the Mediterranean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Intertidal (Ref. 1184); occurs at low tide mark (Ref. 1181 and 1184). May be found among mangroves in brackish environments (Ref. 1184). Specimen obtained from intertidal sand (Ref. 1182). Found at low tide (Ref. 1181). Specimen obtained from intertidal sand (Ref. 1182). Occurs at the low tide mark.
