Usually sampled at subtidal sediments up to 2.3-2.5 m depth. Sediments beyond this depth are always hard-packed and bloodworms were never observed to dig deep into it (Ref. 81174). Maximum depth range from Ref. 112705. Benthic; found in reefs (Ref. 3209). Also in soft substrate (Ref. 112705). |
