Distribution:  Eastern Pacific: Alaska to Mexico. Tropical to temperate.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 822. Collected almost solely offshore (Ref. 822). Found at depths at least 30 m (Ref. 2376).
