Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 12 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Known from immediate subtidal to 12 m, on Pocillopora damicornis coral colonies (Ref. 337). Abundant, living on coral attached to rocks in 1 m to 4m (Ref. 88739). Also, on coral in tide pools and in moderately deep water (Ref. 87884).
