Distribution:  Arctic, Eastern Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, Northern Atlantic, Mediterranean and the Antarctic. Polar to subtropical. Polar to tropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This is an endobenthic species that inhabits rocky (Ref. 95730), and muddy bottoms (Ref. 2780). A surface deposit feeder (based from the feeding ecology of the family Flabelligeridae; Ref. 87179).
