Max. size:  7 cm DL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 0 - 30 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific: Chile, Argentina and Falkland Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found in lower intertidal areas, in tide pools, rocky substrates and on fronds and holdfasts of brown algae (Ref. 87801). It is also found in forests of Macrocystis pyrifera (Ref. 92889).
