Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 3 - 3300 m
Distribution:  Mediterranean, Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic Oceans: Portugal, Spain, USA and Canada. Mostly polar, but also in subtropical and boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Epibiotic (Ref. 116013). This is an attached species (Ref. 3123). Found at depths of 3 to 3300 m (Ref. 120471). Also found in coastal waters (Ref. 64386).
