Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 1 - 20 m
Distribution:  Southeast Pacific and Southwest Atlantic: Chile and Argentina.
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 116066. Epibenthic (Ref. 116066). It is found encrusting on rocks, pebbles and bryozoans at about a depth of 20 m (Ref. 87801). Members of the phylum Bryozoa are hermaphroditic. Both fertilization and egg brooding may either be internal or external (Ref. 833).
