Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Species of Evadne are raptorial - their cylindrical limbs posses rigid claws which hold their prey. Little is known about their feeding habits. Some species may be herbivorous, others may feed intensely on microzooplankton (Ref. 108514).
