Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 7 - 9 m
Distribution:  Northeast Atlantic, Mediterranean and Western Indian Ocean.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Depth based on occurrence (Ref. 2851, p. 719); to be replaced with better reference. Naticidae are carnivorous prosobranchs which drill holes on their prey such as limpets, barnacles, and other mollusks, especially bivalves (Ref. 833).
