Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: India, Japan, China, to Tahiti and Hawaii.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found along the neritic zone, in reef areas. An omnivore/carnivore known to feed on polychaetes and small mollusks (Ref. 97241). Also in rock crevices (Ref. 132434).
