Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 230 - 360 m
Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic: Colombia and Panama.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It has a maximum total length of 20 cm (Ref. 271); and a carapace length between 4 and 9 cm (Ref. 4). Occurs at a depth range between 230 and 360 (-400) m with a soft substrate of mud or coralline rubble (Ref. 4).
