Environment:  pelagic; brackish; marine
Distribution:  Northern Atlantic and Arctic Ocean: USA and Canada. Mostly polar, but also in subtropical and boreal.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This is a neritic species (Ref. 119480). Also found in estuaries (Ref. 106119).
