Distribution:  Indo-Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean Sea and the Antarctic: Antarctica and Philippines.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This is a deep sea, pelagic species (Ref. 111123). Appears to be a bathypelagic species, young specimens live in considerably higher level than adults (Ref. 85342).
