Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Cocos Islands to Tahiti and Hawaii.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Occurs from the intertidal zone to a depth of 20 m (Ref. 343). Subtidal (Ref. 106854). In reefs or rocky substrates. Subtropical and tropical climates (Ref. 343).
