Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 12 m
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean, Western Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in high intertidal pools where it feeds upon the sponge Hymeniacedon perlevis (Ref. 866).
