Family:  Strombidae (conchs)
Max. size:  6 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: from the Andaman Sea to western Polynesia; north to southern Japan and south to Queensland and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  On coral sand (Ref. 349) and weedy areas (Ref. 799). Occurs at the low tide mark (Ref. 349).
