Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 3 m
Distribution:  Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean: USA, Germany and Italy. Temperate to subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth from Ref. 114727. This is a benthic interstitial species, found in beach and shorelines (Ref. 111259). Found at -10 to +30 cm above the mean low tide level, at depths greater than 2 cm in grey sands (Ref. 2109). Occurs at the low tide mark.
