Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colony: often small. Corallites: irregularly shaped, deeply excavated. Septa with irregular height. Weakly developed paliform lobes. Very fleshy colonies. Color: brown or gray, either uniform or with distinctive oral discs (Ref. 848).
