Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from Kenya to China, Australia and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Subtidal (Ref. 106854). Found on shallow water among sea grasses and algae, e.g., off-shore Sargassum sp. Only Kemponia species found on floating Sargassum sp. (Ref. 81686).
