Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Australia. Subtropical to tropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Maximum depth based on occurrence (Ref. 128446); to be replaced with a better reference. In shallow waters near coral communities. Found under rocks, or embedded in substrates composed of sand, rock fragments, dead coral rubble, and shells (Ref. 128446).
