Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 2 - 417 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific and Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in intertidal areas boring into soft rocks and corals in tropical waters (Ref. 75831). In Belize, it was found in a submarine cave near Columbus Cay (Ref. 87209). Commensal (Ref. 104365).
