Body can be squarish or rectangular in shape. With rows of prominent tapering papillae along the corners of the body. Body is grayish-red, while the underside and papillae are usually red. Feeding tentacles have yellow stalks and dark red branches. Tube feet are light red. |
| Intertidal, to depths reaching 100 meters. Attached on rocks or laying in sandy areas and seagrass patches. Suspension feeder. Collect planktons and organic detritus via its feeding tentacles (Ref. 125532). |
