Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth range based on type locality; to be replaced with a better reference. Occurs in shallow waters. Found on hard bottoms over encrusting calcareous algae, growing in proximity to red and brown algae and other sponge species Mycale acerata and Sphaerotylus antarcticus (Refs. 1225. 122856) (Ref. 122586).
