Distribution:  Northwest to Southeast Pacific, and Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Shallow subtidal, at depths 0 to 2 m. On submergent vegetation (Ref. 116127). Also occur on low to mid intertidal areas of moderately exposed shores. Found on rock pools and amongst algae beds. Associated with Enteromorpha prolifera and Colpomenia sinuosa (Ref. 126194).
