Family:  Pectinidae (scallops)
Max. size:  7.5 cm SHH (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 1 - 50 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: from Myanmar and Thailand to the Philippines; north to Japan and south to Malaysia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Attached to hard objects, on various soft and hard bottoms. Sublittoral from depths of 1 to 50 m (Ref. 348).
