Environment:  sessile; marine; depth range 2 - 24 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Height may be over 20 cm (Ref. 82063). Depth range is based on occurrence. Maximum depth from Ref. 102328; to be replaced with a better reference. It is found in coral reefs, attached to the fringes of big coral boulders in both clean and muddy water. It can tolerate silted environments (Ref. 82063). Filter-feeder (Ref. 68823).
