Max. size:  6.5 cm CW (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 200 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic, Mediterranean Sea, Black Sea and Sea of Azov. Introduced in South Africa and Japan.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Epibenthic. Found in a lagoon. Feeds on the bivalve Musculista senhousia (Ref. 106871).
