Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 480 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic and Eastern Pacific: Chile, Argentina and Falkland Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species is found on cobbles encrusted with calcareous red algae, pebbles and shells lying in silt at depths of 0 to 480 m (Ref. 87801).
