Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 0 - 45 m
Distribution:  Indo-Pacific. Tropical and warm temperate climates.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Assumed maximum length from Ref. 844. Known from immediate subtidal to 20 m, in sand and fine gravel (Ref. 337). Few dead shells on the beaches (Ref. 88739).
