Environment:  benthic; marine
Distribution:  Northern Pacific: Japan, Hong Kong, Canada and USA. Climate: boreal to subtropical.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in sand-mud shores along the mid- to high intertidal zone (Ref. 95344). In mangrove areas, part of both epibenthic and arboreal communities (Ref. 128397).
