Max. size:  0.1 cm CL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 0 - 115 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Eastern Africa to Japan, Australia and New Caledonia.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Subtidal. (Ref. 106854). Commonly found among detritus on shallow reef flats and rarely to a depth of 115 m (Ref. 69553). Also found on sandy substrate (Ref. 107938). In dead coral galleries (Ref. 126978).
