Distribution:  Western Central Atlantic.
Diagnosis:  Color: yellow to yellow-green, yellow-brown, or yellow-orange. Surface usually covered with low, fine conulose projections, but sometimes smooth. Consistency: tough, compressible.
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 108813. Occurs in shallow hard grounds, coral reefs (Ref. 85482), and in mangroves (Ref. 86836).
