Max. size:  4.9 cm SHL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthic; marine; depth range 20 - 190 m
Distribution:  Western Atlantic: Brazil to Argentina. Tropical to temperate climates.
Diagnosis:  Shell slender, slightly curved, white to yellowish, polished, shining. 6 thin primary ribs on posterior half of the shell, dorsal one larger than the others. Anterior half smooth. Secondary ribs present, number variable. Intercostal spaces straight to convex. Apical section hexagonal, oral section circular (Ref. 3441).
Biology:  Empty shells collected at depths of 5 to 269 m (Ref. 3441).
