Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 2 - 7 m
Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies are flat or submassive with tentacles usually, at least partially extended during the day. Bluish-grey or cream in color with dark brown polyps.
Biology:  Found in turbid environments at the base of reefs and in intertidal pools (Ref. 847).
