Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Dwells in intertidal muddy and sandy substrates. Deposit-feeder, able to digest sediment bacteria and diatoms. Affects sediment microbial community activity (Ref. 130732). Found in estuaries, salt marshes, and mangrove areas (Ref. 130733).
