Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific.
Diagnosis:  Colonies: composed of short, irregularly dividing knob-like branches. Corallites: no septa, or one or two septa reduced to a single spine. Palisade of vertical spines occurs above the wall. Color: greenish brown.
Biology:  Occurs on rocky surfaces exposed to currents (Ref. 848).
