Distribution:  Mediterranean Sea.
Diagnosis:  Thallus drawn up, constituted of a maine cylindrical axis measuring 0.5 to 1 mm in diameter; main branches measures 150to 180 micrometer in diameter; trichoblasts present (Ref. 87937).
Biology:  Found on calm, shallow, photophilic biotopes (Ref. 87937).
