Distribution:  Indo-Pacific: Madagascar to Japan, Australia and Hawaii.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Minimum depth from Ref. 96667. Found from subtidal zone to a depth of 165 m (Ref. 69553), on rubble (Ref. 113378). In dead coral heads, reef crevices, and sponges; from lower intertidal to beyond 200 m (Ref. 114914).
