Environment:  reef-associated; marine; depth range 1 - 12 m
Distribution:  Endemic to Persian Gulf.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Upper reef slopes and lagoons (Ref. 846). Ubiquitous, found mixed with Acropora clathrata, most common at depths of 3 to 5 m (Ref. 108326).
IUCN Red List Status: Near Threatened (NT); Date assessed: 01 January 2008 Ref. 123251)
