Remarks Found on fringing reefs where brown algae and coralline algae abound. Species is abundant in depressions and crevices among sponges and other sessile animals. Light-sensitive; forages through the night. Feeds on a wide range of algal species as well as bryozoans and sponges. Also associated with amphipods and chitons (Ref. 102372).
