Remarks | Inhabits shallow waters characterized with dark sand (Ref. 799) and muddy substrate (Ref. 126564). Also found in shelf zones (Ref. 349). Naticidae are carnivorous prosobranchs which drill holes on their prey such as limpets, barnacles, and other molluscs, especially bivalves (Ref. 833). |
