Remarks Abundant either in quiet or moderately high-energy environments. Usually occurring under stones and coral slabs or on the underside of rocks, sometimes on algal crests of reefs. Also found on subtidal zones in shallow waters. Dead shells occasionally washed up on the beaches (Ref. 88739).
