Remarks Known from tidal inlets, caves and shallow coastal benthic habitats (<25 m) (Ref. 86643). Inhabits a variety of substrates like mud to hard substrata and smaller colonies are known to be occasionally epizootic on other hydroids (Ref. 87801).
