Remarks Found on coral reefs. The zooids in the colony are clavate and united at their bases (Ref. 415); they are closely packed and are massive in size, often in hundreds (Ref. 86358). Found on mangrove lagoons (Ref. 1758), on mangrove roots (Ref. 121478).
