Remarks Occurs at depths of 0.6 to 180 m, usually between 0.6 to 64 m; on sand or rocks, often in the outer reefs. It feeds on dead animals, detritus, etc. These animals are sluggish and nocturnal and bury themselves in the sand (Ref. 4).
