Các chú thích Dipping; offshore; continental shelf (Ref. 356). Found oversea and on the shore (Ref. 83946). Breeds colonially in mangroves or occasionally on the ground (Ref. 84934). Male frigatebirds are not monogamous. They start to attempt breeding with another female the year after it has stopped feeding the chick after circa 3 months and molts which leaves his previous female still raising its chick. This shows that for this species, females provide longer parental care than males (Ref. 87784).
