comments Probably endemic to Chile. Known from the Peruvian Province to Puerto Montt to Peninsula Taitao and Golfo de Penas. It is known to be infrequent in the fjord region. In northern Chile, a distinct color variety with red column and stellate pattern can be observed (Ref. 87801). C: Ref. 87801.
