Found on rocks in intertidal areas (Ref. 130068), and also found in shallow subtidal waters. Members of the family Turbinidae are herbivorous, consuming small epibenthic algae and vegetable detritus (Ref. 349). Dwells in intertidal sand, mangrove and coral rubble (Ref. 129010).
