Total Length: 40 to 46 cm; Wingspan: 101 to 104 cm (Ref. 8812). Feeds mainly on epipelagic fish, Pleuragramma antarcticum (Ref. 5056), Electrona antarctica (Ref. 4633), squid (Ref. 4633), Antarctic krill Euphausia superba (Ref. 3930). Feeds by surface seizing and plunging; pursuit plunging; pack-ice.
